Should I feel proud or sad.

Ok, I sold my 6800 ultra online on the fs/ft for a good price... Well, someone buys, asks for pic, and a few hours later, asks me to deliver to someone in my town... Well, the buyer of my card originally wanted to compensate me for gas, and willing to pay $10, I denied.

I ask why, Ebay... I search around, found out it was sold for $100 more than what I sold it for along with the picture I took of it....

Should I feel good I denied the $10?... Should I feel mad?

Btw, I'm hand delivering to the ebay buyer.

P.S. If the dude that bought the card sees this, don't respond! I'm still delivering the card anyways. Don't make me feel more bad lol. :)

Edit: I am also not bashing the person... Why else is it anonymous? :) It's more of a self-approval thing.

I still have the card.
But the guy that bought the card on ebay lives near me.
So now I'm hand delivering to the ebay buyer.

You should feel good for what you did. Finding out the motives behind it after the fact shouldn't change the good will.

yes they are. 6800 Ultras are a pretty rare card. especially the BFG ones. they are usually still selling for msrp or more.

Just hope the ebay buyer doesn't claim he never received it (assuming he paid via Paypal)

Excellent, I have not checked prices since I bought it. Must be time to sell. I have a BFG 6800U OC, not retail though, mine is OEM (white box).

<------ Off to ebay to check completed auctions.

Technically it's still your video card until your transaction takes place. Since the guy found a buyer willing to pay more, why not just sell it to that buyer and get the money. The other guy doesn't deserve it.

You could take the negative feedback and re-sell for tons more bling :) Would it be worth it? Quite possibly :)

so basically your buyer earned 100 dollars for doing nothing, didn't even have to package and ship... isn't listing w/o possession of item not allowed?

but for the gas, no, i wouldn't be angry about that. just the face that the buyer sold it...
