Question Should i enable Rebar on my system??

So after reading various articles and forum threads, i'm still not sure if it's worth enabling Rebar on my system or not.

My specs are up to date in my sig. Is it worth enabling?

You can always toggle it off again.


The lower end cards (like a 3060Ti) benefit more then the high end cards.

My BIOS has only "Auto" and "disabled". I think that you need to boot UEFI for it to work.

You don't loose anything by enabling it, and it may just boost performance a bit. So go right ahead.

Correct. Especially CSM must be off, it won't work with that enabled.

Thanks for all the replies. So i did enable it and in Heaven Benchmark 4.0 the scores were higher overall. Even more strange is the Minimum FPS went from 10.8 FPS to 66.0 FPS with Rebar enabled.

You might check for a BIOS update. I had a 9900k and MSI Z390 board and it had resizable bar support.

That is a massive performance increase in your minimums!

Resizable Bar can be accessed by systems dating back to 2011, but it requires a mod.
