Well I messed up big time - left a glass of water out over night.

Woke up this morning and there was a dead spider floating in it.

Not sure if I ever wanna drink out of it again even after washing...

Spiders are natures filters. They absorb all the toxins out of water leaving it cleaner and healthier for drinking. You should never drink out of glass without a dead spider in it.

I've taken a drink with a spider in it before. Just grabbed the glass when I woke up and took a sip. Also drank a bit with a silverfish in the glass. Haven't died yet.

There was a statistic that throughout our lifetime we ingest quite a few spiders. Whether it fell in our food or was inhaled while sleeping we dont realize it. You could have actually eaten the spider and absorbed its power.

Spiders aren't exactly known for carrying microbes...not dangerous ones or a particularly high amount anyway. I consider most invertibrates "clean" (not flies and dung beetles, obviously).
