I have a P3 550e @ 795 and have it dedicated to RC5. After doing some reading just now I found out that the P3's do relatively better at Seti...so should I run Seti?
and don't say both...I like all or nothing :)

i say: as long as its for the TeAm, whatever your heart desires. my personal choice is seti, but then, i'm biased.

We lost first place in rc5. We MUST get it back. Every computer helps. Your P3 could bring 700 blocks per day to our effort in regaining our rightful position.

The RC5 team DOES have a more immediate need, but that system would really rock at SETI if you decide to eventually switch over! :)
(Especially since it looks like you're running your memory and system BUS at 144Mhz, and that higher memory bandwidth is a huge bonus for the SETI client..)

What you have to ask yourself is what do you want to do? Would you rather analyze SETI data knowing the chance is very slim that you will find a signal or would you rather analyze rc5 data knowing the chance is very slim that you will discover the key?

Both projects have a bunch of helpful and friendly members. You can't go wrong either way! :)

Also it could be argued that with our SETI team in 23rd place in the overall teams we need more help than the RC5 team who are 2nd :p;)

Seriously though ,just run the Project you find most interesting for whatever reason :)

A few months ago I would've said SETI, but now I think it'd be better for our RC5 team to regain First Place. :)

well I'm interested in whatever will make maximal use of the system...otherwise it's just sitting there for most of the day anyways...
based on that, maybe I should do Seti...the system can do 150mhz FSB and has 384mb of ram at cas2 which doesn't seem to affect RC5 so maybe i'll switch..
