ooops hit enter...gimme a few mins 🙂

OK, so i just got my car a few months ago, and its at 90k miles -- time for a timing belt, tuneup, the AC stopped working (i think something was leaking, gotta get that looked into) and someone put a decent dent on the passenger side..otherwise its mechanically sound, clutch is pretty much perfect, brakes/tires are new, etc...

I dunno. I'm thinking maybe just fix the AC/dent so it looks pretty and let the next person worry about it...right?

Oh, and in case you're wondering, its a red 5sp '99 civic ex coupe...all stock...a ricer's dream heh.

You know, I used to do the same thing where I spelled "maintenance" as "maintainance". Funny that.

i wouldn't do it...

i did alot of maintainence on my toyota camry before i sold it...i should have just sold it...

i didn't get all the money back from the repairs...when the car was sold

My housemate sold his car but before doing so he spiffed it up really good. Cleaned it thoroughly, tuned it up (he was a mechanic, supporting himself largely by working on people's cars, although he didn't have a workspace per se). I'm sure he took care of any problems it had before selling. I kicked myself for not buying it myself. It was a Honda Accord, probably around 7-10 years old. You will probably easily get your money and sweat equity out of it if you do all the stuff you're talking about, and it's good karma to boot. Just my two cents. It's not the voice of experience, so YMMV.
