My new OEM battery for Note 3 was so inexpensive compared to other batteries and gave me satisfaction as it worked, but battery life starts getting worse only after 3 weeks. Is it a defective OEM? My original Samsung battery and a slim Mpj extended battery with one year of heavy use and they still hold charge well. At the moment the new OEM is working, should I continue to use it? Thank you in advanced:'(

If you bought it exceptionally cheap on Amazon or ebay (regardless of anything stating "OEM" or "By Samsung" or even the logo and look of a genuine item) then chances are great it's a cheap knock-off.

Not sure how Amazon in particular gets away with it, but they're overrun with cheap knock off stuff masquerading as "Genuine OEM".

I've found that genuine stuff for something like an OEM phone battery, replacement S-pen, charger, etc. will be boxed properly in retail packaging, and cost close to what you'd find it in a big box store or other legit site for. (IE:A $40 item won't be $11 and not a knock off- it might be $30 and genuine though. )
