Should I contact my crush after 2 years?

I don't want to seam like a jerk and just tell her all of this, especially if she is seeing someone else. I'm not sure I was thinking I could just ask her out to goto coffee. I don't really have an expectation to go out with her however I would take the chance if she was willing. I really would like to be honest with her and tell her all of this but I think that would just screw everything up.
