i just updated my mobo's BIOS (MSI 790FX-GD70) and i'm wondering if i should clear its CMOS? will doing so put my RAID 0 data at risk if the RAID controller is on my mobo?

i guess i should mention there are no problems that i'm aware of after updating the BIOS, but some people suggest clearing the CMOS for a fresh start...

No need to. Just go into the bios and load setup defaults that will load any new options into the bios. Then put the settings where they need to be and save it.
