Should I change my case fan to low?

I currently have my case fan set to high and my cpu stays around 35c. I would like to turn the fan down to low but if it will affect the cpu performance or life I can deal with the extra noise. What do you guys think?

Run Prime95 at MAX HEAT. Use the lowest fan speed that will keep the CPU temp around 55C.
