Indians are rude and obnoxious to service providers.

I see it all the time in NYC. Shooing their arms and hands at people that are there to help them, it's annoying as hell.

Honestly, it sounds like he's up to shenanigans. He would likely cost yoiu way too much in the future if he is ever a tenant in any of your rental properties.

Indeed, passed him off to an even newer agent who's eager enough to take the risk (that I spelled out to her) and "non-indian" enough for him not to try to take advantage of faux-loyalty. I love that, when indian people I've just met expect me to bend over backwards for them based on pigmentation and genetics! I have two big clients I'd like to focus on and can't afford the distraction for what I'm guessing will be a meager fee (or none at all).

Thanks for the input!

Here's what you do...

Tell him you have an apartment to show him that isn't currently listed.
Take him to your apartment.
Make sure you cover the floor with newspaper before hand, and have a raincoat and an axe handy...
Now when he gets there offer him a few drinks.
Ask him if he listens to Huey Lewis and the News...

I forget how the rest goes, but I believe you end up with a doubles partner.
