Should I calibrate my Dell Ultrasharp U2410?

Just got a new U2410 for a crazy deal on craigslist, $250 only! .I don't do any photo editing or whatever. I only play games and watch movies but the Spyder 3 gizmo looks expensive. I also am not really sure how to calibrate with the onscreen pics. Is it worth the effort or are factory presets fine for me?

If you have a DVD that has a THX calibrator on it, even that will make a big difference.
