Put it simply I got $150 and I'm looking for the best video card for the money. Will a GF3 perform better than this?

-Thanks

Over-priced. Both the GF3 Ti200 and Radeon8500 OEM are clearly superior in feature set and performance for similar pricing.

Here's a little clip from Hardocp about the MX card.

NVIDIA has drawn a line in the sand between the casual/business user and the gamer with the GeForce4 MX. NVIDIA has been preaching the tremendous value of vertex and pixel shaders for a year now, and the GeForce4 MX series cards simply will not give you full benefit of all the eye candy that we've been seeing screenshots of since the GeForce3 release. The MX is not for the gamer, but NVIDIA also knows that. We just want to make sure you know what you're buying, should you find a GeForce4 MX is the best fit for you.
