Should I buy this or is it worth waiting?

Awhile ago I had a mb crap out on me so I bought and replaced it with a P4C800-E Deluxe mb. Right now I'm still using a P4 2.4B processor and 1 gig of pc2700 ram. Basically, my question is this: Should I go ahead and buy myself a nice new P4 3.2C w/2 X 512MB Mushkin PC3500 Level One Dual Pack? Or should I wait until the new socket 775 etc. is out for something later down the road? Any feedback is much appreciated!

Well, that's up to you. None of us know how good the socket 775 chipsets are going to be, or how long it will take before they get them "refined". Assuming you aren't an overclocker, if you upgrade now, you would be gaining 800mhz of processor speed, along with hyperthreading. If that seems worth the money to you, then I say go for it.
