Hmm, I don't think so, as far as I can tell it's just a 2 cylinder boxer engine.

rofl.....that looks like a lawn mower engine. But damn if you could manage to stuff in a decent engine into that, it'd fly :)

My brother had an early one. Its a 600cc parallel twin, air cooled, with a 180 degree
crank, roller and ball bearing bottom end. The first year in the States had a crash box,
just like a m/c. They run forever........:)
They are FWD.

Yep!!! That's exactly how I feel...

I have a strange affinity for rare, quirky stuff... especially if it's mechanical in nature. I would LOVE to have that car... just to have it.

Not a big fan of yellow, but shrug. :p

Same here, although I'd keep it yellow. That's part of what makes it so weird. I'd only repaint it if I could find a stranger color though.

I remember having seen a picture once where someone had fit one of these little Honda 600's into the "Cart Corrale" (sp?) in front of a supermarket. It's actually small enough to fit into those little cages that are two shopping carts wide.

Nahhh....

Obviously, it's a collectors car. You aren't going to be looking for it unless you want one specifically. That's going to raise the price.

Plus the fact that it looks basically immaculate, only 8k miles on the rebuilt engine... It's definately worth more than 1k to someone who wants one... as is evidenced by the current price. ;)

Seems like you are right. There are plenty of sites devoted to it like
this one.

Better than a motorcycle. :D

notfred should buy it.

;)

My 600 got 30 M.P.G.

Don't think that just because it was extremely tiny and had only a 600cc engine that it got 60 M.P.G.

I sure do miss them now.
