The giant "WIN" on that graph is class LOL.

Anyways, knowing how much ASUS will charge for that card you are better off getting a 6800NU. No matter how fast they clock the memory on the 6600GT it is still going to choke at higher res as it is 128-bit.

I would go with the BFG6600GT OC which shouldn't be costing much more than normal.

I jsut checked the BFG. and its actually clocked lower and has less things in the box. only advantage to the BFG is dual DVI but I only need one.

opinions. see if it was good or not. I mean if the BFG had been better then I probably would have considered it higher :p

The Gigabyte card is at the same speed and is $193.50, retail box. NewEgg also has a 6800LE card at the same price. I don't know how it compares, though.

Let's not forget the lifetime warranty and native-English speaking tech support that BFG offers. Do you really need eight crappy games to go with the card that you'll be playing Doom 3 and HL2 on? Also, why can't you get a plain 6800?

EDIT:
Asus card runs 500\1000
Gigabyte is 500\1000
Same with eVGA, Albatron, Leadtek, MSI, and XFX. Do you want AGP or PCIe? You never specified.

The ASUS regular 6600GT runs at 500/1000 . The one he was talking about is the "EN6600GT TOP LIMITED EDITION", which runs at 550/1100.

Pretty good clocks for a 6600GT out of the box; that should absolutely smoke a 9800 Pro/XT, for example.

Looks like a good card. I just wanted to let you know just because it is 1.6ns ram does not meen it is faster than 2.0ns it just means that it can clock higher. You probably know this just wanted to let you know.
