Should I buy scalped tickets for tonight's Giants vs Dodgers game?

Probably end up spending around 80-100/ticket for decent seats, but this is the last homestand of the season and I haven't been to a game yet this year. Any tips for beating down the scalpers would be appreciated as well.

Next seven games with the Giants. Should be fun. No way are the Dodgers going to win the Wild Card though. :(

just wait an the bottom of Chavez Ravine (where the dodgers play)and keep on yelling i need tickets, you will have a swarm of scalpers there in no time. you wont get a great deal, but if you wait just until the game starts you can get a deal. and there are always people who have friends that dont show up trying to sell tickets at the gate as well....

wish i could go, but wont be able to make it and it's going to be a great series.

no point... the games are useless.. i wouldn't pay 80 for them.. second string is probably going to be playing anyway... try to get tickets to some post season games.. now those would be worth the money

Well I went, ended up paying $40 a piece for great field level seats 3 rows back from the field, about 2/3 of the way down the left field line. Saw Barry hit a homer :( and the Dodgers lose again :( :( :( Still it was a beautiful night at Dodger Stadium, which is a great place to see a game. Plus the dogs were good ;)
