should i buy gamecube for $40

my buddy is selling him gc, and offered it to me for $40. i never woulda bought it at full price because most of the games look too childish (mario sunshine, wtf is that?) how are those games, as in mario sunshine, metroid, starfox, and of course zelda(im dont think its out yet). what are some good-non childish games, and are there any good rpgs for it?

We sold off our Gamecube to buy an X-Box earlier on this year, but for $40 I'd buy one.

The best game coming out for it is probably Metroid. I would definitely get that. Star Fox Adventures also looks pretty good.

and as far as RPGs PSO (Phantasy Star Online) will be coming to GC

I definately would get it. I don't have any of the 128bit system, but my friend does. Animal Crossing is very cool, then there are your more mature games you are looking for like Resident Evil, and Eternal Darkness. All the games my friend has gotten I have enjoyed played. Super Smash Brothers Melee, Super Monkey Ball 2, Pikmin, Mario Sunshin... though they maybe childish, fun. I played metroid at a gamestop the other day, the controls take a little while to get used to, but it was interesting. Anyways, in short, buy it. You get to get a gamecube and 2-3 games for what most people pay for just the system.

go for it. some of the games may seem "childish" but they are still a lot of fun to play. plus, you have games like resident evil and final fantasy coming out that are going to be great. for $40 you'd be dumb not to!
