I want one today as well but I'm going to wait until the jumpered boards are fully in the pipeline or a vendor will guarantee the one your getting has the switchblock.

in the end it's prolly(ahh yeah it is) cheaper to just get a slotA t-bird for my K7M... and use the GFD


then sell the athlon 500 i have now

Very true, I'm considering that for my K7M as well, (getting a SlotA T-Bird) or you could always get a Duron now as they aren't locked yet and wait for a week or two for the A7V.

Yeah i think i'm gonna get a duron today or tomorow and then buy a good mobo. What do u guys think i should go for a 600 or 700? I also have two sticks of pc 100 ram, generic, 64 megs; i'm not sure how well they will work with a duron. What are the chances that i wont have probs?
