I'm running my 600@850 right now with a nice watercooling setup.

No problems. Under full load it hits 90-95F. Not at all hot for that much over-spec. I broke the dips on the board, so I can't try higher yet. I am going to fix it and go higher myself.

My advice, due to power constaints, go with a watercooler. You can usually plug the waterpump into a 110 outlet, leaving your psu to power the system and not the peltier. It also allows you to run this at room temp, not subzero and risk condensation.

I haven't tried a peltier myself, so this is a one-sided opinion. Just my .02.

As to whether to go water cooling or not/// thats a call only you can make... As to Pelts/ try www.tedist.com and get a Potted 1 if you chose to go that route...I water cool my original stepping p3 650, and have had it up to 1012 stable with my setup...( with just 1 peltier on it ), I'd buy a block if I were you, purchase a water block/ buy a water pump from home depot or an ace hardware/ buy my own lines/ and get a small reservoir,( any lunch cooler will do ), and build it myself....You get much more satisfaction building your own/ and save $$ to boot :)

hmmm well what are the DISADVANTAGES to using a peltier? I will be honest and say that I want to be able to pick up my PC and take it to LAN parties, so the water block is out of the question, but I dont know what is up with the peltiers...my celeron is running at 990 stable but I want as much as I can get!! hehe

I just havent heard of many people using a peltier for a substantial amount of time and would like to know why....nice question Jdaves
