cos it`s duel ata66 controller MOBO.

yet some1 said that even his ata100 ibm didn`t even transfer at udma 66. 40meg/sec or something.
so will my new udma100 drive work at the same speed even if i had a promise 100 controller.

MY MODO.. PLEASE CHECK OUT.

If you have ultra66 controller onboard you don't need the Promise card unless you need to run extra IDE devices. I have a AbitKT7 raid motherboard and I get better benchmarks from the regular controller. Be sure to enable DMA in the device manager for your hard drive and it should run fine for you.

don't even bother, you won't even notice a difference in application and games... only benchmarks. Save your moola for a Geforce 3... just kidding. Peace out.
