I want to buy a customized asus notebook but I have never heard about xoticpc before so I don't know if I can trust them. Does anyone have any experience with them? And what is that support like (warranty, etc)?

I've heard of them many times. Go over to www.notebookreview.com, the owner is a user and is a frequent poster. Everyone on those boards who has ordered from them has nothing but great things to say. And warranty comes from the manufacturer, not xoticpc themselves. They just configure the notebook you want for less then it would cost from the manufacturer.

If you can live with the specs that newegg offers and it's in stock then it just comes down to price. And by the way Asus makes a fabulous notebook.

The manufacturer (Asus) won't warranty configured ensemble notebooks. If any of the factory specs of an Asus ensemble notebook are changed, the warranty then comes from the configuring agent.
