Should I Buy a Computer from IBuyPower or Alienware?

I've been extensively researching, and I've decided to go with either ibuypower or Alienware.

I never really heard of ibuypower before... just a few people told me so I'm a bit sketchy on it.

ibuypower gives me better parts for cheaper than alienware, but as I said, I never really heard of ibuypower.

Should I go with IBuyPower.com or Alienware?

Thanks!

If you've got the money go with Alienware. Ibuypower may be cheap but they are the epitome of "you get what you pay for"

voodoo will be better than alienware, but they are still quite overpriced.

That said, I forgot the name of another brand that was supposed to be good..I think it was oxford pc or monarch computers

One More Question: It may be offtopic but whatever:

What exactly is SLI? I can get either an Athlon 64 SLI ready computer or a Athlon 64 computer. The SLI Ready one is 200 dollars more, and I don't even know what it is! Should I just go with the regular Athlon 64 Computer?

you should just go with a dell. $389 with a free 15" LCD. don't waste the money if you don't know what it is.

$200 more?!?! jebus christ! an SLI mobo runs about a $30 or $40 premium over a regular one, and an pci-e power supply (which is unnecessary) runs about $30 more than a regular one... goddamn!

you should just get a dell.

if you just need a machine for light gaming, internet surfing, and normal applications (listening to music, watching movies, wordprocessing), go with a dell.

if you need a powerhouse gaming or video editing machine, build your own.

Possibly look into a Dell from the Dell Outlet Store?

Or wait for one of the killer deals Dell usually has every month or so.
