Ok, so I on my first built system right now (specs in sig) and its been running fine since I made it (around May).
I even toyed with overclocking, got it up to 3.2 from 2.8 until one day out of nowhere it decided that that was too high, wouldn't boot, even told me the overclocking was unstable so I set it back to 2.8 and I'm never touching it again. That was maybe a month ago, don't know if its related.
Anyways, yesterday I was having trouble getting it to recognize a memory card in my card reader, I reboot and it hangs before getting to Windows. Restarting doesn't work, I have to turn it off then on again.
This morning, after accidently leaving it on over night (I usually don't) I turn on the monitor to check my email, and my starfield screen saver is frozen, flickering. Nothing responds, and I have to turn it off and on again just like above.
These are the only incidents that anything has happened, and as this is my first build I want to nip anything in the bud before something really bad happens... so is this something I should be worried about?
Thanks!
