Should i be worried that my fedex package has not moved in 2 days?

its in memphis, says it arrived at sort facility but it has nothing posted after that, and that was over 2 days ago and it still has not moved. its scheduled to come in tommorow, but have they lost it? or have they not updated their site? i dont see how it can get from memphis to southern Mississippi in the next 24hours. but what concerns me is that it has not left for kennar yet.

My packages come to Birmingham via Memphis and usually stay in Memphis until the day before delivery. I don't think Memphis to Mississippi would be hard to do in a day.

Yeah, FedEX is pretty bad about holding on to packages in the warehouse. It's not uncommon for my local FedEX (Tupelo, MS) to receive the package a full 2 or 3 days before the scheduled delivery date, and just sit there.

The distribution center is 5 minutes away from work, and I can't even pick it up.
