Should I be worried about this hard drive?

So I just got this 3TB Western Digital Green drive, and some of the traces/solder pads looked somehow damaged or burnt. Should I be worried about the life of this drive? I've never seen the PCBs look like that, but it appears to function fine and has no SMART errors.

(sorry for the crappy cell phone pic)

Used in "very good" condition on Amazon. The SATA to USB adapter for the enclosure also had similar coloring, so it has me concerned (but the price was really good).

Maybe it was just a failure in the external enclosure, and nothing wrong with the drive. I've had that scenario before, where an external drive wouldn't spin up, but when I took the drive out the drive was fine so threw away the failed enclosure and continued using the perfectly healthy drive.
