should i be using niMhs?

i have a visor deluxe here, and im having to change the batteries every 1.5 weeks. there are niMh AAA batteries out there, and i have a charger already. should i get some niMhs, will they allow me to go longer in between battery swaps? does a visor kill akalines like digicams do?
 
Yes, they may be costly initially but it'll only take a month and recoup your $$$. In addition, these batteries last longer tha the regular NiCad and hold charges more per charge. I've thrown all my Nicad and switched to NiMh. very satisfied so far.
 
alkalines are bad for things like walkmans and pdas.. wasteful.. enviromentally and moneywise😛 i have a visor deluxe, use nothing but nihm now. get some nice 1600+mha batteries, not those junky energizer ones. how long they last depends on how much backlight etc i use, just buy 4 and have 2 on charge at all times, its a very good setup🙂
