Should I be suspicious of this eBay seller?

I bought a Titleist 975J driver on eBay for $155.02. The guy has 2 positive feedbacks (no negatives) and tells me he needs the payment to be made by cashier's check. I asked him if I could send him a money order, just because it's cheaper, but he said he needs a cashier's check. This is the first time I've ever sent a cashier's check, should I be suspicious that this guy is trying to scam me?

Cashier's Check = MO

If you send him a USPS MO, he can cash it at any local USPS for FREE.

Assuming you're both Americans.

This is exactly how I see it. I really don't see why he should prefer a cashier's check over a money order.

Send him a link to money orders on USPS.com and explain to him in plain english that cashing a USPS MO at the USPS is _FREE_

There are none of these "fees" he's referring to.
