Considering that probably only about 1% of the total PC market will actually buy a $650 G80 that requires an aircraft carrier's nuclear reactor in your case, I dont think that it will increase their (PSU makers) sales all that much.
We've been getting ready for this moment by buying 500+ W PSU's.
But it does look like you're going to need a crazy PSU if you're going to SLI a pair of 8800's or whatever ATI calls their next gen card (C1900XTXT? Go from Roman numeral "X" (10) to "C" (100) and add a digit? ).
