Should I be paranoid with high capacity hard drives?

Ok, I know I'm a little paranoid about getting hard drives that are 80GB or bigger because I've been thinking to myself that they have a higher chance of going bad (bad sectors, no power, clicks). Clear this up for me, tell me I'm wrong. Those of you got 80GB or bigger HDs, how long have you had it? What brands do you have?

I got a Western Digital 80gig 7,200rpm hdd. The drive is now 7 months old and still working strong without any problems.
