Should I be overclocking my p4 2.8 cpu?

I have a pentium iv 2.8 ghz processor, with 200 mhz fsb at 800 mhz bus speed. Should I be overclocking it to increase performance?

Is it a prescott or a northwood? Socket 478 or LGA775? What motherboard do you have? What cooling do you have? What mem do you have? I had a 2.8E that ran at 3.5ghz on an Asus P4P800 with ease.

Dimension 4700 dell. It is a prescott. Don't know about the socket, how do I find that out? Stock cooling. 512 mb ram (2 seperate 256 mb samsung sticsk, dual channel).

Can't overclock with a Dell.
