Should I be concerned yet?

I got in on the Staples WIN XP promo. I mailed my rebate certified mail with return receipt on 11/20/01. I know it takes 6 - 8 weeks for the rebate but shouldn't I have gotten the little post card back saying they received it atleast by now?

if it means anything, i've never gotten a post card from a rebate company, and i've always gotten the checks

rebates never get to me, and when they do, they are like the crappy $5 ones

Well, I sent a Compaq IPAQ rebate USPS certified with return receipt and 10 days later I received the USPS return receipt card back. So, using the same USPS certified and return receipt on the Staples rebate form, I would think that after 3 weeks, I would have received back the return receipt card.

Lost as in the return receipt card came back to me and I mis-placed it? Or, lost as in the USPS didn't get it there?
