Should I avoid installing Intel Chipset Drivers on SSD?

Hi All

I just got a Thinkpad T400s with X-18 Gen 1 80GB SSD Drive. I just installed Win 7 x64. As the drive does not have TRIM support, would it be ok or not to install the Intel Chipset and Storage drivers on the system. I know with TRIM drives this is into recommended, but what about my setup?

BTW, my drive has the latest Intel Firmware.

install away, you are not missing anything out since your drive is gen1.
another thread just linked to new leaked beta drivers that do trim on raid1 and raid0 (but not raid5)... so its getting there. but still not an issue for you since your drive is gen 1
