Should I ask this girl out?

don't worry about being fat

I swear, i saw this really obese guy a long time ago when I was in Jr. High...his pants couldn't even really fit on him so his stomach was all flopping out and everything...next thing I know this FINE AZZ chick, wearing short shorts and a tight tank top, comes up to him and starts hugging on him. She was top quality model material. I'm like "holy sh!t". That proved to me that any guy can get any girl as long as you believe in yourself. Doesn't matter about appearances. Attitude matters though.

So basically you're asking if you, being overweight, should ask out a girl? Just do it. The worst that can happen is that she says no.

but what if she dances in circles around him chanting "fatty, fatty, fatty". I'd say that's worse than her just saying no.

I agree. A lot of it is how you act, which includes your attitude and confidence. If you're confident about things, there will be a MUCH better chance of her saying yes. If you aren't, work on it. If not for a girl, do it for yourself. It's one of those things that you want to have the ability to bring out, even if it's not all the time.

I haven't read your post but I'm going to have to say don't ask her out. If you lack the intestinal fortitude to make your own decisions you do not deserve a social life nor should ever have the off-chance of breeding.

I'll have to go with this one.

Why don't you ask on yagt.org too?

Yeah, don't be a wuss, and ask her out! From what you're saying, it sounds like she's interested in you. You don't have much to lose if she says no, too!

I got a question of my own, though.... If this person happened to be a co-worker of ScottyB's, do the same "rules" apply? Needless to say, things could get very uncomfortable at work if she turned him down in that situation.

Anyway, I thought that I'd throw that thought out to spice up the conversation.

you have classes with couches, and you're visiting a bar? what the? :Q

Thats what I was wondering! What school is this, and where do I sign up?

We were supposed to get a day off because the other section had one off because of MLK day. The class decided to meet at a bar, since we have it on St. Patrick's day, instead. The couch is because we only have 14 kids in the class and it is in the prof's office.
