I dunno, cant really think of anything else i would use as much as an ipod....

Combined with an iTrip i think i would put that sucker to good use...

Think i should ask for one? Do ya reccomend them?

EDIT:

FYI, I already have a job lined up and this was my DAD'S IDEA... So for those of you who want to push your agenda down my throat, kiss my ass. Im asking a simple question, if you dont like it, dont thread crap... Easy as pie....

depends how much will or has been spent on your education. you get a full ride or something? or are your parents just loaded. if yes, sure. if no, earn your own ipod.

iTrip = FM transmitter that fits onto iPod - I was told it didn't work on Gen 3 iPods.

Thanks to some nice florida scholarships, i recieved a check for ~$1300 a semester ontop of my free tuition...

There is a new version coming out soon that supports it... They are taking pre-orders...

Then yes, i would get one :)

Unfortunately all that kind of money that comes my way is spent to keep my car on the road and my mountainbike rideworthy.

My dad told me if i wanted a iBook/Powerbook he would chip in $400 or so for that instead....

Hmmmm.......

15gb IPod

or

12.1" Ibook/Powerbook (I would sell my Dell 8100 to make up the difference in price)

how about a car instead? ipod seems like a crappy graduation gift. it would be money better spent elsewhere-

Apparently, isaacmacdonald thinks that a car is a suitable graduation gift. Give you three guesses as to who comes from a rich family ;)

My cousin just got a 2001 Yukon for his present. So yeah, an IPod would be a fair thing to ask for in my book.
