should I actually pay my dad back for my car?

I just finished school last year and my agreement with my dad is I would pay him back for my car and the 10,000 for school he lent me to that loans wouldn't cover, when I got out of school and got a solid job. well I've gotten to that point. and was about ready to start paying

but talking with my bro today I found out that my dad just bought my stepsister a new car for her B-day. that and he's paying her insurance.....lets just say i'm a tad bit pissed at the moment, he doen't know I know since my bro wasn't supposed to tell me.... now tell me should I pay him back or should I confront him about this?

I finish school
Dad buy car for my stepsister
should I still pay back the money even though he bought a car for my stepsister
 
ummm wait he bought your stepsister car/ins, but he didn't pay your school tuition? I would not be happy about that ....
 
even though it sucks a word is a word, i think you should live up to it. I'd be piss too, but that's life.

yup thats where I'm at I don't have a problem with my dad and I know it wasn't his choice to do this it was my stepmoms (fucking bittch) but i'm also pissed at him for not telling me

true this is proubly what i'll do but i'm not going to be in such a hurry to pay him back that I was planning on.
 
Do you still like the car? Just sell it and give him the money. Then put that money you would of had to pay him back to a new car.

problem is my car was 11grand when I bought it and now its depreciated to about hlf that.
 
Pay him back. With the last check, include a note about the step sister. Maybe something like "Did this help pay for _her_ car?"

It tough for a man to say that but he shouldnt make you pay him back your school money.
 
mainly the reason i'm pissed at my dad is I went to bat for him in his custudy battle alienating my self from my mom. (not that I care she's a fuckking loon) the principle of it is that my other brother and stepsister could of testified to the same things I did but they refused so I had to fly cross country to do it, missing work.
 
Man, it sucks either way for you. He will either embarassed or will get pissed big time and lash out at you man. Just pay him the money, since he doesnt mention it to you, that meant he did feel some guilt about it.
 
i'd be pissed as fvck. I dont' even know what I'd do. I'd probably pay him back and leave on bad terms, and not talk to him for a very very long time
 
decided i'm going to tell him straight up i'm pissed at him for buying my step sister a car, and tell him that although I have every intenetion of paying him back that i'm going to put a higher priority of buying my self a house, since he really doesn't need the money right now if he bought the car for her. (in addition to his 3 cars and my stepmoms car)
