Should Hill supporters vote Repub?

You've probably heard this argument (and sorry I haven't followed the election too closely so I can't provide much in the way of give and take debate😱, I also have a massive migraine🙁) but what about the old:



Go over to McCain, let him live out his old, infirmed later years in the White House so that we can regroup for a 2012 bid, rather than letting Bama stay in for eight (assuming no fuck-ups, a 2nd term is assured) and losing all momentum and interest for 2016.



Any thoughts, insights?
 
4 years is a long time in politics, I think the vast majority of Hillary supporters would be smart to take Obama now rather than the possibility of Hillary in 4 years. There is no way to know what the political landscape will look like then, it would be dumb to bet the farm while giving up 4 years of having a Democrat in the White House.
 
and if mccain decides to serve one and get out it's hard to beat the sitting vp if things are good and the exiting pres doesn't sandbag them (like wjc did to albert)...
