The poll question literally asks:

https://d25d2506sfb94s.cloudfront.n.../a6ywqpe9hl/tabs_OPI_hate_crimes_20150511.pdf

"Do you support or oppose the federal law that requires increased penalties for hate crimes committed on the basis of the actual or perceived race, color, religion,
national origin, ethnicity, or gender of any person?

This poll did not ask whether saying stupid shit that could be contrived as "hate speech" should be made a crime.

OP got away, until page 3 here, of literally making shit up, or being dogshit stupid.
I'm just posting here to say "ownage of the year candidate" to make it easier to search for in December. Oh, Nick, not the OP as you think. You, for not reading page 3 of your own link. LOL

How's those confiscation laws from the war on drugs working out for you, only criminal drug dealers have to worry right?

How's the Patriot act working out for you, only terrorists have to worry right?

How's zero-tolerance working out for you, only disobedient unruly students have to worry right?

Now after answering that, ask yourself if you want to mess with your first amendment rights, especially all you hateful atheists that love to ridicule, oops I mean constructively criticize, Christians and their beliefs.:colbert:

If you are going to ban hate speech then you must also make sure hate speech is not protected by any religion. If course people today do just that. Now the ever sliding slope starts because now people will say their religion is better than someone else's.

So apparently. around 11% of people are either trolls, or actually believe in limiting free speech ... That is a pretty scary figure, but, could be much much more terrifying ...

Also,
The government is a necessary evil.
They should be trusted no more or no less than any other entity out to protect itself.

My very first post was in the exercise thread. But, coming from someone who sprays spittle everywhere while personally attacking others in every post before ending with a "LOL Democrats", I'll take it as a compliment.
