Should fan on front of Antec Sx-635 make a difference?

I have a standard ANtec Sx-635 case. It has the fan in the back that pulls air out of the case. I installed an 80mm Antec fan in the front of the case to pull air in from the front but it doesn;t seem to make a difference in the temperatures. The PC IS inside an armoire so the back doesn;t have a lot of room. The CPU temp is around 49 degrees. I'll reboot and check the PC temp.

PS Entire front of armoire is open when PC is on.

The system temp is 28 degrees.
The CPU now says 47-49 drgrees. But it was around 49 before I put the fan in.

I have the same case with two fans in front and the one in the back. If I turn off the front fans the case temp goes up by 3-4 degrees Farenheit.
