Should Czar get a Dell 2405 lcd monitor?

I got a call from a friend about one of his co workers returning from the land of cheap computer parts along with a few Dell 2405 monitors which he plans to sell for profit. If i lived in the US I would have one already but I'm not and here things are expensive.

The brakedown:

- In the US the monitor costs, cheap, so very very cheap.. for that monitor at least
60.954isk <-> $952

- From our local bastards at the "dell" outlet
139.000isk -> $2186

- From the same place using my companies discount
129.000isk -> $2029

- The price I am being offered the monitor at
100.000isk -> $1573

I currently have a 1901fp monitor along with an old old 20" crt, dual screens 4tw! .. but the crt is so dark, cant use it in the light and it has this hizzing sound sometimes, its 6-7 years old so no wonder. Dont even bother turning it on anymore. I use my computer for.. browsing, photoediting, games, 3dsmax, downloading... wasting time

Should I jump on it?

He's saying that no matter how much it costs to ship, it'd be less than $1500 for sure.

Duheeee..... yeah, can't possibly go over 500. I'd say less than 100.
 
I thought the same thing these other guys did. Send someone the money to buy it and then ship it to you for MUCH less than what you're going to pay. Hell, you can pay the same amount to send someone the money, get screwed out of it, then try again with someone else, and still come out on top! 😛

lol, just get someone reliable in OR to save on sales tax. Throw in some $$ for their time and bam, you'd get it for probably only $1000.

think sales tax gets added... a whooping 24.5%.. and for some weird reason it gets added to the shipping cost as well

but.. I could order from a neat store called shopusa, that way I should be able to order stright from dell usa

haha, assuming i order from shopusa and the price for the monitor is $952 then it would be a total of 89.000isk or about $1409, thats nothing major

but if i can get it for around $750 like DaWhim said then it would be about 70.000isk or about $1116 now that would be saving
