RAMs, that's like saying DEERs or GEESEs

No, your computer will not POST without RAM(s).

What is your mobo and what does the manual say about BIOS / POST error messages?

I think mobos should come with like 128MB of cheapo ram so if the computer doesn't have any, you can still boot. When you add memory, the onboard will be disabled and if you want you could later enable the onboard with your current memory.

It will not boot without memory.

Another thing...Do not try to boot the computer without the heatsink and fan mounted.

Sorry, but I don't want to pay for any "cheapo" ram when I buy a new motherboard. I want to spend the money on components I select, and keep the cost down by not including features I don't need or want.
