New 3900X Windows 10 build with a 1TB PCIe4 M.2 NVMe drive and several old SATA SSDs.
I was planning to create an eg 100GB partition on the 1TB NVMe SSD for C: and use the rest of that drive for a D: partition holding apps and games. But then C: will have to contend with drive accesses for the games and apps, and vice-versa. So I wonder if it's better to put C: by itself on a small SATA SSD. Slower technically, but no interference either way.
Any opinions? Thanks.
