Should an internal SATA II drive produce the "Safely Remove Hardware" Icon?

Just curious.

It doesn't show up as a removable drive in any other place. Not sure if I installed it correctly. Have only the SATA II controller on in BIOS (no SATA and not set up as IDE).

I installed the SATA II driver off my mobo's website, and it shows two seperate controllers under the device mgr "AHCI Controller and SCSI/RAID"

Other than that it seems to be working properly. HD TACH showed it with a 255MB/s Burst Speed.

Don't woprry about it. SATA drives are hot-plugable - even internal ones. Ignore that icon. This is a common thing.
