And i hope other adults will still be gaming, since its adults who create games.

The last person whom i would want to make a game is a non gamer....

I guess according to this guy world chess champions are mentally disabled individuals because they move toy soldiers around on a board.

But then again there's a reason he's a guy making videos on youtube and not doing anything that requires mental aptitude like programming or engineering.

Im 34 years old, married with two kids. I play probably an hour to two max per day of games, about 5 days a week. I am an entrepreneur who does very well financially, and have time for work, family as well as playing tennis, soccer, and golf.

I never saw a reason to stop gaming as I enjoy it very much, but I do not live like a hermit and only play games all day.

OP's still trolling I see. Trolling OP/P&N kinda entertaining.. isn't trolling a PC gaming subforum kinda goofy tho?

This should go under Discussion club or off-topic. It's just trolling here in PC games.

NO. THIS ISN'T TROLLING. SO STFU.

Not exactly up for an intelligent debate, is s/he? ;)

Chalk up another post for the "gamez r 4 luzers" crowd, despite all evidence to the contrary.

I'll ask you directly, zaza; if not playing games, what DO you expect people to do after a hard day's work is done?

Is watching football out?
Is model building out?
Is reading out? (Or must it only be feminist-approved literature?)

Are you implying that people who play games equates with the anti-gg myth that they're all living in mom's basement and not doing anything else with their life?

Should we all be alphas doing nothing but lifting weights?
She we all be working 60-80 hour weeks instead of 40-50?

What do you see as the positive to strive for since gaming is such a 'negative' to you?

At the end of the video he goes so far as to criticize watching TV and reading fiction as vices that we need to work against. Although video games are just the worst, of course.

The video is 3 minutes long, you replied a few seconds after I created the thread.
Who's the troll?
Still you.

No, this belongs on a completely different web site. One where people brag about their social awareness, their electric scooters, and how they don't have a television whilst enjoying the smell of their own farts.

Was at a fancy fundraiser for a local college Thursday night and conversation at our table of eight turned to gaming. Our table ran the gamut from ~35 to 65 and five of the eight still play video games, including the youngest and the oldest and the president of our consulting engineering company. Three of us are still pretty hardcore, including one who plays online shooters and is competitive with the twenty-somethings and teens.

Didn't click the link, but I'm guessing this is that video by a guy named Gavin Mcinnes saying video games are for little kids, the Batman Arkham games were somehow "adults only", superheroes and Star Wars are for little kids too, and he puts down liking fiction and TV shows in general as a "vice", and says men should be "putting tables together". Dude's a moron with no clue what he's talking about, possibly a troll, but either way he's a moron. No need to waste any more breath on him than that.

Will video games protect your son's virginity? (locked but we are getting closer to figuring out what he is frustrated with)

There's a mobile equivalent for every PC game
(oh we are definitely getting somewhere now)

What are the best optimized PC games? (ahhh there it is)

So much grief and frustration. I feel sorry for you. I urge other members to leave him alone as he is clearly hurting. If he continues lashing out, notify mods, a vacation, temporary or permanent should help him out.
