Should AAA honor their online prices?

I am a bit miffed here..

AAA has on their website prices to go to Great Adventure listed $31.99. When I go to the store to get them in person (don't have time for the 4 day delivery) they tell me they have no idea what I am talking about and will only sell them for $40. Anyone have some idea on who I can go complain about this to?

Just because I have internet access does not mean that all of their members do, and they should not discriminate like that..

does the site specify that the offer is for web orders only?

maybe try calling them while at the site and asking them to honor the price in person-have them fax you something along those lines.

at the store, ask if a manager can check their site to confirm-but that goes back to my first question-it may be internet only

I have been looking for that myself, but I can not find anything of the sort. The only thing I can find is that the website touts itself as an online reference to all the "good" things your AAA membership offers, it will "save you time" and such.

Here is a quote from the site:

<< AAA sells theme parks and attraction tickets at a discounted rate available only to its members. Tickets may be purchased online or at AAA branch offices. All tickets are not available at every office. >>

From what that says to me, I should be able to get it. As for the all tix not in every office, I take that to mean that me being in NJ can't buy tix for Dollywood and such.

What do you think?

seems like you should be able to get it. just go into their store and ask to speak to a manager if you dont get the site's quote. couldnt hurt to bring a printout with you.

at the very least, the manager should have an explanation regarding their policy.

Well me and my trusty printout will walk into the store this evening after work and see what we can pull off. Otherwise I just wont buy them there. Might cost a few dollars more using various coupons from fast food joints but I will be personally happier for the sake of principal.
