Seems like it happened here. A moderator should always state why a thread is locked and identify hiself / herself.

It was beyond clear that it was a trolling thread. If you can't see that then it is even scarier you were ever an admin.

Video gaming forums are the almost the worst, first hand experience.

I wasn't as aware how absolutely zombified an average gamer is, because I am a gamer, I was inside of it, got out of this fake reality and I don't miss it, still have favourites, still have good memories, some feelings, but I can put them aside easily, I play about an hour of starcraft 2 per week, a bit of company of heroes 2, that's about it for the last 3 years.

I totally agree with the idea of a real explanation - the stuff that was going on at facepunch is absolutely insane, long story.
