Should a career alcoholic be president?

I despise Bush. I really do.

That said, many people never get over drug addiction or alcoholism to the degree where they can avoid it.

If Bush were a former coke user, or former alcohol abuser, and beat it I have to congratulate him, and anyone else who has done the same.

I have to take issue with the man for what he has and has not done as President, not what he contended with earlier in life.
 
Something interesting to add to this.. Many pre-debate analysts were really talking highly of his earlier debates but were saying his speech has gotten much worse over the last 10 or so years.. 😉 signs of too much inebriation.
