Should 1.85v be enough for a Duron 600MHz at 1.008GHz?

I used to run this Duron 600MHz at 1.008GHz all the time (112MHz*9), but recently Windows freezes after a while or games freeze after playing them for a few minutes.. Is 1.85v not cutting it anymore?

Like Tonec said, it could be your high FSB speed. Although 112MHz isn't necessarily high, the KT133 chipset generally runs unstable at anything higher than a 110MHz FSB.

I agree that the problem is more likely due to the FSB. I generally run my Duron 700 at 1083MHz. I've found that pushing the FSB any higher makes it too unstable.

I can get 1050 on my T-Bird stable at 1.75v and I can't even get to 965 stable w/a 107 FSB.

So your FSB is more than likely the problem.

Hi

My system was unstable(game freezing, benchmark freezing, etc...) when I did 1.85v and 9.5X108. My system is completely stable(hours of game playing, benchmarks, etc...) now using 1.85v and 10X103. My guess would be that your fsb is the culprit in this situation.
