A couple weeks ago I saw two houses with xmas lights up. Tonight I saw about 10 houses.
And one house had a tree in the front window. So I thought I should say merry new years and happy xmas as soon as possible.

Its still not as bad as that one year I saw Xmas items on display at Cracker Barrel, in July.

Christmas lights are starting here too, and now we have a bit of snow on the ground so it feels a bit more like the season. I still need to put my lights up, I am debating on going LED this year or continuing to use the 7w incandescents. (that's 7w PER BULB!)

I just buy amazon vouchers for everyone these days,well except my nephew.Hes Thomas mad atm but that could change in a day so i will wait untill about a week before christmas before buying his pressie.

One of the subdivisions around here put up their entrance lights this weekend. Chicago city workers were busy stringing lights the last week in October.
