A woman where I work has 5 letters in her entire first and last name. That's 5 letters TOTAL!!! :Q

That has to be close to some sort of record.

I've seen several asian names where the english version is only 4-5 letters. Think you'd be difficult to find a natural english name with less than about double that.

Those are just letters though. Not really much of a name.

A letter can be a name. My dad's middle name is L. I wanna pass on the tradition to my children and just pick a letter.

i think 'E' is a very common korean surname, but usually turns out as Lee or Rhee after being americanized

A better question would be the shortest non-Asian name. Someone already posted Ty Law.

Normally for a black guy, I'd say Ty is short for Tyrone, but in Ty Law's case, it is short for Tajuan.
