Shortening a pre-made avi?

Is it possible to take a pre-made avi, about 60 seconds, and shorten it to 10 seconds to add to a powerpoint? Are there any online sites that can do this?

You should be able to trim it with Windows Movie Maker,

Don't know about online tools but if I were you I'd use Virtual Dub. Free and easy to use.

You will want to make it an MPEG 1 for powerpoint. Also make sure the video is with the presentation file as it is linked, not embedded.
